Experience of dealing with global suppliers, shipping lines, freight forwarders and landside haulers at origin and destination, understanding of import documentation to support shipments such as customs invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading, duty tariffs, the experience of letters of credit and Incoterms. Tracking incoming shipments up to arrival in the UK / EU warehouses, Checking and approving import transport/ charges invoices to ensure that invoiced amount matches expectations. Identify and resolve any stock inventory discrepancies, Arranging DG shipments and raising HWCN\'s where needed.
