About Amber Bellou
I am a data scientist, researcher, educator, former research analyst, and cognitive safety consultant working at the intersection of AI, education, and human-centered design.I am the Founder of CogSec (Cognitive Security), a nonprofit developing frameworks, curricula, and practical safeguards to protect human judgment, attention, and trust in the age of AI. My work focuses on helping organizations reduce overreliance, manipulation patterns, and hallucination-driven decision risk through cognitive safety strategy, education, and implementation tools.I am also pursuing a Master’s in Learning Design, Innovation and Technology at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where I am deepening my work on embedding cognitive safety into curriculum, EdTech, and AI-mediated learning environments.My academic background includes an M.S. in Data Analytics and Computational Social Science, dual B.A.s in Anthropology and Political Science, and a minor in Environmental Science. I also bring experience as a research analyst, which strengthened my ability to turn research and complex data into actionable strategy.At Gen AI Global, I co-started the internship program, teach AI marketing, contribute to AI-powered onboarding and workforce development systems, and am a contributing author to the Gen AI use cases book. My work spans education, operations, data systems, and AI literacy.I also bring prior executive experience as a Chief Marketing Officer, with additional strength in leadership, communications, and data-informed strategy.Open to consulting and collaborations in cognitive safety, AI governance, learning design, responsible AI, data science, and interdisciplinary research.
