ABOUT AMBER ADAIR

I represent clients in the financial institutions and technology space - with a specialty in insurance. My practice consists mostly of the day-to-day transactions, which includes experience drafting and negotiating insurance-related agreements (MGA, producer, broker), Insurtech programs, financing programs, colocation, technology licensing, technology maintenance and service agreements, technology development, technology implementation service agreements, and cloud-computing transactions such as software-as-a-service (SaaS) and infrastructure-as-a-service, with an emphasis on insurance, privacy, security and finance-related issues. A critical aspect of assisting clients on their transactions is understanding their regulatory obligations and constraints. My regulatory experience spans the insurance, bank holding company, AICPA industries. In addition, I represent clients in information technology and business process outsourcing transactions and credit card processing services and operations. As former in-house counsel at an insurance company and consumer finance company, I have a unique view on the many factors affecting in-house clients and business partners.
