I began my journey in the sewn products industry as a temporary data entry associate at the Apparel Industry Board, Inc.(AIBI) while pursuing my BFA in Fashion Design—and quickly discovered a lifelong passion. Over the next 18 years, I advanced through nearly every role within the organization, eventually serving as Executive Director.Throughout my tenure, I’ve been driven by a commitment to support, elevate, and advocate for local designers, manufacturers, and creative entrepreneurs. From launching programs and planning industry events to securing grant funding and growing membership, I’ve worked to strengthen the sewn products ecosystem in meaningful, measurable ways.Today, as Director of Industry and Member Relations at SPESA, I continue this mission on a broader scale—connecting suppliers, service providers, and innovators across the Western Hemisphere. My work centers on building relationships, expanding membership, and creating opportunities that support the success and sustainability of our industry.
