I always thought I would start my event planning business, Amazáe Events, and continue to grow it from the ground up until I’d eventually retire after decades long success.While this has become my reality to an extent, there’s much more to the story. After years of being in high-tech, I realized my love for planning events, passion for design and enthusiasm for customer interaction, and started Amazáe Events. With over a decade of dynamic corporate and social event experience (over 400 events), as well as my upbringing, events have been a focus throughout my life. With Amazáe, I specialize in creating one of a kind, fun, result producing, stress-free events. I would love to hear what your specific needs are for your event. The events industry was shut down overnight, and let’s be honest, it has not been the same since. Things shifted rapidly in the world, and I was forced to reflect on what matters most; seemingly opportunistic timing for a mother of an unexpected newborn. I now had a family of five to help support.My husband and I were up late discussing the impacts recent events were having on everyone we knew, including our own children. That’s when the idea for Kuloko Co. came to be. We wanted to create a way to help children express their emotions in a healthy way, as well as engage caretakers to better understand the complex emotions children experience. As a children and family psychologist, this is his area of expertise. We designed a subscription box program to engage the entire family while learning about various emotions, including activities to work through each in an effective way.
