About Ashley Arostegui
Ashley Arostegui hails from a Cuban-American family in Miami, Florida and has worked on a wide variety of issues including foreign policy, community and economic development, and arts and culture. She currently serves as a Political officer in Seoul, where she focuses on political-military issues. She graduated from the Master of Science in Foreign Service Program at Georgetown University with a concentration in Global Politics and Security. In 2016, she worked as a graduate fellow at the U.S. Embassy to The Gambia in West Africa, on politics, human rights, economic issues, and governance. She holds BA degrees in English and History from Florida International University, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa. Ashley also has an MA in Media Studies from The New School in New York City, and has worked in documentary video production.
