ABOUT AMARJIT MOHANTY

Hello Everyone. I am pursuing Integrated M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering, at ICT-IOCB with an interest in Oil and Energy sector. Being a Techno-Economic guy, I\'ve learned the value of integrated approaches to maximise the process using the most appropriate technology and the economics at play. I am well versed with Chemical Process Industry specific skills including Unit operations, Project management, Process design, monitoring and troubleshooting, Process flow diagrams, Refinery Operations, Equipment design, and Optimising production. I am acquainted with softwares such as Aspen Hysys, Aspen EDR, Aspen plus, Aveva Pro II, DWSIM, Matlab, AutoCAD, Honeywell Uniformance Process Studio and Microsoft Office Suite. Currently learning different softwares related to my area of interest with a hope to get accomplished with those as soon as possible. Till date, I have done five conducive internships at IOCL Paradip refinery, IOCL Petrochemical and Business Development, Delhi, IOCL Digboi Refinery, IOCL Gujarat Refinery and RINL Vizag steel. I like to lead by example. I lead from the front by taking positive action, demonstrating what needs to be done and keeping my team organized to make sure we\'re all on the same page and contributing equally. With this effective leadership quality, I lead different teams, clubs and associations to organize various events and formulated successfully. Served as Sergeant at 6 Odisha NCC PURI battalion and was the state NCC junior troop commander at State level parade for two consecutive years. I was also selected for the inter group competition pre-RDC camp and a recipient of \'A\' certificate, best cadet in annual training camp and a silver chain for shooting. As a determined sportsman, I played Cricket at school, club, district, state and national level. I too was selected for the U-19 National Cricket Academy (NCA) camp. In addition to that, I represented at school and state level for both Basketball and Volleyball. I lead my teams at various tournaments and brought laurels. I am also good at dancing and well versed with three dance forms. I too was felicitated by the State Council for Artistic Research and Training, Odisha. Looking for an opportunity where i can use my knowledge to develop the organization and make it more successful with my efficient management skills. I want to excel in my field through hard work, research, skills and perseverance. With the right resources and team members, I am confident to bring positive and targeted results.
