ABOUT AMARIS J. GAGNON
Amaris Gagnon is the bi-racial daughter of a Trinidadian immigrant and French father. She left her home state of Massachusetts and moved to Los Angeles to study theater at Loyola Marymount University. It was through her love of playwriting that she found her passion and power for screenwriting. Amaris is a one-hour drama and feature writer, specializing in horror and science fiction. She loves to tell stories with themes that touch upon specific flaws in American society, characters who are outsiders, and the monsters that are inside all of us.Recently, she was a 3x Finalist for the 2022, 2023 and 2025 Disney Writer\'s Program. She resides in Portland, Oregon.
