ABOUT ANNA MARCHUK

My professional experience is a combination of the corporate brand marketing (12 years) and film production (3 years). I’m open to new opportunities in media and film and would be happy to discuss how my experience aligns and contributes to your project needs and goals. Here is a short summary of my experience: In my strategic marketing role, I was responsible for portfolio growth and expansion. I managed new product launches, multimillion-dollar budgets, 360° campaigns (TV, OOH, digital, etc). I guided brand and project teams to achieve brand and company goals and the bottom line. I led creative marketing campaigns from the big Idea to broadcasting and oversaw TV commercials creation during prep/shooting/post-production processes, from the storyline to the final cut. In film, I transitioned to Vancouver union productions, working on-set as a Trainee Assistant Director (TAD) and Production Assistant (PA) on union shows such as A Million Little Things for Disney and A Hannah Swensen Mystery for Hallmark. I worked if the production office for Nancy Drew Season 4 for CBS (Paramount) and Warner Bros. at the time), from the season prep to the show wrap. I am an Associate member of Directors Guild of Canada (DGC) and I am based in Vancouver, Canada. I believe my experience in marketing brings a strategic approach, structure and the ability to manage teams, budgets and challenging complex tasks. My experience in film has helped me better understand film production and the BTL film world, its roles, and responsibilities, enabling me to deliver better results in the creative industry. As a person I am versatile and driven. I ran half marathons, stayed in ice cold water for 10 minutes and travel 55 countries. I am up for a challenge and believe in achieving the goals I am setting. Happy to connect and start a conversation.
