I am an inventor with 50+ patent applications (20 grants), a scientist, and a technical leader who enjoys being challenged and pushed beyond the limits of technical and leadership abilities. My goal is to develop next-generation products that will have a positive impact on the masses and transform the world. Currently, at HERE Technologies, I am working at the intersection of machine/deep learning, statistical/mathematical modelling, navigation technology, mapping, and vehicle sensor data to create a product that will revolutionize the domain of autonomous vehicles. One example of a product I am working on is HERE Hazard that this is a niche and emerging technology, I need to apply a wide range of hard and soft skills. I directly engage with the product team and customers, utilizing my soft skills to translate business problems into technical problems. Typically, this involves presenting complex scientific methods/techniques in a way that is understandable to a non-technical audience.Now, turning to core skills, the first step is to establish a robust data science pipeline. These pipelines are designed to be easily transferable, reusable, and maintainable throughout the product\'s lifecycle. The pipelines are then divided into various activities where data science skills and techniques are applied. I have employed a diverse range of data science techniques to solve problems. From my experience, I have found that most problems can be resolved through exploratory data analysis and visualization. However, for more complex problems, I have to leverage state-of-the-art machine learning/deep learning/statistical modelling techniques to create valuable solutions.Additionally, I have made contributions to the research community by publishing high-quality scientific papers, presenting at conferences, and filing patents.
