ABOUT AMAR MUNNOLIMATH

With over 11 years of experience in designing, developing, managing, and implementing projects focused on private sector development, I specialize in sustainable consumption and production (SCP), Circular Economy, Green Entrepreneurship, and Green Finance. My work spans across Asia (South, Southeast, and Central Asia) and Africa (East, West, and Southern Africa), where I have successfully collaborated with various partners and stakeholders to drive impactful change. I excel in managing multi-partner consortium projects funded by esteemed organizations such as the European Union (SWITCH Asia, SWITCH Africa Green), GIZ, BMUV, and the World Bank. My expertise includes: Multi-project Management: Leading complex, multi-partner projects with a focus on sustainability and green development. Capacity Building: Training over 300 Business Development Service (BDS) providers on diverse Green service topics and empowering nearly 100 Financial Institutions including commercial and international banks, to develop Green Finance products. Policy Development: Collaborating with over 200 policymakers to create policy solution prototypes addressing various Climate Change and sustainability issues, including SCP and Circular Economy. Facilitation and Moderation: Organizing and moderating over 80 multi-stakeholder training sessions, workshops, and conferences, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing. Mentorship and Coaching: Guiding and supporting over 800 MSMEs in adopting green technologies, accessing green finance, and scaling up green business models. I am passionate about driving sustainable development through strategic partnerships and innovative approaches.
