ABOUT AMAR IQBAL

My experience with various companies from small to larger enterprises within the IT department, having introduced and progressed within the ITIL framework as incident, problem, change and release management and sitting on the board of directors monthly meetings and reporting directly to the directors on a weekly basis, this has allowed me the opportunity to learn the varied skills needed to work efficiently in any environment. My experience has taught me a great deal about working on my own initiative as well as the importance of working and spearheading support teams, projects and supporting end users and multiple customers and building that cohesive relationship, It has also provided an ideal opportunity to further develop my interpersonal management skills.Have managed many different teams in different corporate environments from a large team of over 20 technical analysis’s to smaller teams. Currently managing a service delivery team and managing multiple customers both in the public and private sphere. Responsible for defining, agreeing and implementing SLA\'s and monitoring their performance and quality. Taking responsibility for Service Desk, desktop support, core business application-support, and other core ITIL disciplines in addition to overseeing negotiated service contracts with suppliers. Extensive knowledge of ITIL, specifically ITIL v3 and experience of implementing ITIL based frameworks into large organisations in an ISO27001environment.I have possessed a strong supervisory track record in customer service and a technical environment, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the personality to motivate at individual and team level. I have gained considerable experience during my employment with these companies and believe have gained sufficient experience through my employment to enable me to be successful. I am always eager to put the skills that I have obtained into practice in a stimulating and challenging environment.
