ABOUT AMANY MOUNIR
With +13 years of hands-on experience in port and terminal operations, developed background across different terminal types and environments. Throughout my career, I have worked with three of the leading terminal operators in the global shipping industry (APMT/Maersk, CMA CGM, EUROGATE/Contiship/hapag-lloyd, contributing in developing brownfield terminal and start-up two greenfield terminals. This experience has enabled me to support operations from early-stage development through to stable and efficient performance. I have been involved in the implementation of two different TOS (TOPX, CATOS) and have worked with three systems overall including NAVIS, supporting system configuration, process alignment, and operational integration. My experience extends across hub transhipment terminals, gateway terminals, and multipurpose terminals, providing a broad understanding of operational models and requirements. In 2026, I decided to expand my experience beyond direct terminal operations and support a wider range of clients. I joined Hamburg Port Consulting as a Senior Consultant, working as both Project Manager and Business Analyst. In this role, I support clients in developing and implementing terminal projects, from due diligence through to go-live and sustainable operations. My work focuses on supporting terminal development, capacity expansion, and TOS implementation, while contributing to ongoing improvements in automation, digitalization, and operational performance.
