In this role, I successfully enhanced productivity and implemented significant quality improvements by leveraging my knowledge, technical expertise, and leadership skills.• Conduct in-process and final inspection of transformer tanks and core frame fabrication per IS/IEC standards andapproved design documents.• Lead implementation of Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO 9001, ensuring compliance acrossfabrication and assembly processes.• Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement Corrective andPreventive Actions (CAPA) for process improvement.• Coordinate with Third-Party Inspection Agencies (TPIAs) for type testing, certification audits, and compliance withindustry standards.• Perform critical transformer tests such as Performance Type Verification Test (PTVT) and Dielectric Performance(DP) test as per customer specifications.• Supervise site QC team and ensure execution of inspection activities using Quality Control Check Sheets (QCCS)and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).• Manage supplier quality issues by evaluating incoming material, initiating Supplier Corrective Action Requests(SCARs), and tracking resolution effectiveness.• Participate in design reviews and drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) improvements while maintaining QA/QCdocumentation and field feedback systems
