Integral role in managing a US long-haul fleet of 30-35 power units hauling temperature-controlled freight throughout all North America.• Maintaining and building collaborative workingrelationships with internal staff and key external stakeholders in day- to-day operations.• Day-to-day operations include monitoring a large volume of pickup and delivery schedules and ensuring no delays, managing driver schedules/logbooks, communicating with key customers while product is in transit, and communicating with drivers.• Requires a high level of versatility in a very fast paced and dynamic environment, as well as the ability to exercise sound judgment, considering the situation, issues, and key players, and corporate objectives.• Ensuring that all reloads and connecting freight are scheduled and planned accordingly to maximize profitability, and that everything makes logistical sense.• Maintaining strong rapport and relationships withcompany drivers to maintain and improve driver retention in an industry that is currently in a shortage for them.
