ABOUT AMANJOT SINGH
Hi, I am an engineer turned HR professional dedicated to building inclusive, people centered workplaces. I bring a multidisciplinary background in technical, analytical, and human focused roles and currently serve as a Country People Generalist at Nokia Canada. In this role, I work closely with the Country Management Team on country level HR initiatives, support Inclusion and Diversity efforts in partnership with the Canada Diversity Team, and engage with ERGs and other stakeholders to advance community focused initiatives. Before transitioning into HR, I spent more than nine years in Nokia’s R&D Team, developing deep experience in collaboration, innovation, and talent development. My journey with Nokia began as an intern while completing my Master of Engineering at the University of Windsor. I went on to become the lead developer for the customer focused Developer Portal, mentor numerous interns, and contribute to community groups including the StrongHer Employee Resource Group. These experiences shaped my approach to people development and motivated my move into HR.
