ABOUT AMANI ALSHEHRI

As a dedicated academic and educator with a deep passion for English language teaching and sociolinguistics, I am currently enriching my expertise by pursuing a PhD in Sociolinguistics at the University of Essex. My educational foundation is robust, beginning with a Bachelor\'s degree in English Language and a General Diploma in Education from King Khalid University. My journey continued with a Master\'s degree in TESOL from the University of Liverpool, where I honed advanced skills in teaching English to speakers of other languages.Since 2016, I have had the privilege of contributing as a lecturer at King Khalid University. Here, I have not only imparted knowledge but also taken on diverse administrative roles, showcasing my adaptability and dedication to fostering educational excellence. My teaching career initiated in 2015 as an English teacher in a Montessori Kindergarten, a role that ignited my interest in early childhood language education and innovative teaching methodologies.My academic endeavors and ongoing PhD research are at the exciting nexus of language, culture, and society. I aim to offer valuable insights into sociolinguistics and education, contributing to the advancement of our understanding in these fields.With a heart open to growth and learning, I am keen to connect with fellow professionals in education, linguistics, and research.
