ABOUT AMANDA SONNENSCHEIN
I am a New York City born-and-raised filmmaker and artist working for HBO and Amazon Studios, and as an independent director and producer.I started my entertainment career in theater, attending LaGuardia High School (the \"Fame\" school) as a drama major. While in school I starred in several student films and appeared in an episode of The Onion (2007) News Network series, while behind the scenes, I cut my teeth on several indie features, and docu series for CNN, National Geographic, the Discovery Channel, Animal Planet and the Oprah Winfrey Network.After graduating from Wesleyan University as a film and theater double major, I moved to LA where I have directed shorts, advertisements, music videos (VH1), podcasts and pilots (Amazon Prime) across genres including comedy, drama, horror, rom-com, thriller, romance and animation. I have produced two feature length films and am excited to be producing my third this summer.
