ABOUT AMANDA SNAZEL
Hi there! I’m a current Master of Management student at UBC Sauder and a recent Psychology graduate with a passion for human resources and talent acquisition. In my current role at Teck Resources, I’ve had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the recruitment space, supporting both full-time and co-op hiring. With a foundation in understanding human behaviour and motivation, I’ve found myself drawn towards creating positive and transparent recruitment experiences that align with both organizational goals and candidate needs. I’ve been able to contribute to and continuously learn about the evolving strategies that enhance the hiring experience for both candidates and hiring teams. As a student myself, nothing is more rewarding than creating a safe, inclusive and supportive recruitment experience and helping teams find the perfect ‘unicorn’ candidate amongst bright talent.
