About Amanda Rasera Gdc
A Game Designer and XR Technologist with a background in 3D Art for games. As someone passionate about creating impactful experiences that have the power to change lives, I am always looking for new opportunities to engage in projects with a human-centered goal. I spent 3 years of my life in the admissions process for Medical School, until I figured out there were many other ways to achieve my goals. As someone who aims to find ways of using games for positive change, in the next 10 years, I see myself working in an intersection of healthcare, XR, and game industries.I have a BFA in Interactive Design and Game Development - Summa Cum Laude honors from SCAD.My technical skill set includes Unreal Engine, Unity, Meta Horizon Worlds Desktop Editor, Maya, Blender, Adobe Suite software (Substance Painter and Designer, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Audition), Quixel Suite (Bridge, Mixer, MegaScans), Perforce, GitHub, and ProTools. I have been a passionate gamer since childhood, and I am curious about all areas of the Game Development and XR worlds.
