PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCEI am a proven mortgage operations leader with 10 years of experience in processing, closing and underwriting. My success in the field has come from my abilities to adapt quickly, creatively solve problems and inspire my teams to reach their highest-performing potential. I strive to be the best in every role and work hard to exceed expectations.As an underwriting leader I have managed both internal and outsourced vendor teams. Quality must be the primary focus in an underwriting role, so some of my recent activity highlights include facilitating training for underwriters, resolving and curing post-closing internal and investor defects, tracking and documenting quality results using Tableau and Excel, and providing ongoing coaching to underwriters and their managers.As in my underwriting roles, my primary focus as a closing manager was on quality. I actively identified defect trends and coached and trained my teams accordingly. When issues were identified as stemming from a different role, I cross-coordinated with other teams and departments to reach a resolution. I drove my teams’ success by efficiently managing the pipeline and providing support wherever it was needed.For 7 years, my primary focus was split between Texas and Washington, so I have extensive experience with all types of Texas mortgages as well as escrow state closings. In my most recent position, I gained a broader perspective as I supported all 50 states.
