About Amanda Pacanovsky

I am a highly collaborative, mission-driven leader with more than three years of experience supporting institutional advancement, alumni relations, and special events. In my current role with Baldwin Wallace University\'s Center for Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement, I leverage my strengths in storytelling and programming to author communications, plan events, manage alumni volunteers, support affinity groups, and co-advise the student advancement organization committed to all things brown and gold. Prior to driving special projects for the more than alumni community at BW, I interned remotely with the Development team at Florida Tech through the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) using strategic planning skills. Notable successes included co-authoring the department\'s work plan to drive team performance as well as contributing to the university\'s virtual donor wall to recognize philanthropic support. Additional industry knowledge is bolstered by my past graduate internship with the Brain Center for Community Engagement. Through this dynamic role, I advised a special projects team to foster student leadership, oversaw the planning and execution of campus-wide initiatives to encourage community engagement, and coordinated an award-winning social media campaign to promote volunteer opportunities during COVID-19. At Baldwin Wallace, I also had an opportunity to intern part-time with the Office of the Health Promotion Director where I planned, promoted, and assessed wellness programs. Aside from curating content as a graphic designer, I oversaw the internal grant committee, which funded more than to innovative programs intended to address campus needs. In the community, I actively volunteer with Towards Employment and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS). I also serve as a Trustee to the Berea Chamber of Commerce, representing Baldwin Wallace University. A lifelong learner at heart, I earned my MAEd in Leadership in Higher Education from Baldwin Wallace University and my BA in English with a minor in communications from Cleveland State University.
