About Amanda Nepomuceno

Impact-driven international development and education program professional. My portfolio of projects focuses on managing US government and private donor-funded international education and youth development programs, with an emphasis on cross-cultural collaboration, teacher training, and workforce development. I have partnered with schools, NGOs, and government agencies across the United States, Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East to deliver initiatives that strengthen inclusive teaching practices, build digital and leadership skills among youth, and foster sustainable international cooperation. My work combines rigorous program management, including compliance, MEL, partnership and management, with deep regional expertise in China and the Philippines.My greatest strength lies in my ability to create deep and trusting relationships to meet shared goals. This is demonstrated by my international experience and collaborating diverse stakeholders, from teachers to C-suite executives from over 70 countries. I have spent over a decade in the Philippines and China, which included obtaining an MA in International Relations at Xiamen University under the China Scholarship Grant, working in primarily Chinese organizations, managing relations with China, and serving as an educator in the Philippines Department of Education, all while gaining fluency in Mandarin Chinese, Tagalog, and Kapampangan along the way. I have spoken on forums organized by the Philippine Embassy in Washington DC, International Baccalaureate, Reddit, The Society of International Development, and The Comparative and International Education Society on inclusive education strategies, global education, career growth, and Philippines-US-China education and cultural relations.
