ABOUT AMANDA STEWART

I am a graduate from Clemson University. I was a Clemson Scholar with a 3.26 GPA. The Graphic Communications department teaches more than just design. The program also teaches about the entire print process. I have learned about pre-press processes and how to print on several types of presses such as, lithography and flexography. I am also skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Flash, Microsoft Office Suite, Pages for Mac, OneNote, Facebook, SnapChat, Twitter, Instagram and HubSpot. I am currently working at Colliers International. I became interested in graphics while in high school. I was fortunate enough to be able to assist a marketing communications group at a company with their sales meetings. The graphics they produced were amazing and it got me interested in how you promote your product, meeting or service through graphics. When it came time to make a decision on which college to attend, I looked at those with a graphics program. The program at Clemson is more robust than the other colleges/universities. I was ranked number one in high school my junior year so Clemson offered me their Clemson Scholar scholarship. The day I received my acceptance letter from Clemson University was very exciting and the first step on my current path. I am passionate about a lot of things but mostly, graphics in social media and volleyball. I was given a great opportunity as an intern at Professional Printers. I got to develop their social media strategy and create a plan to increase their social media presence. This opportunity sparked a new passion. I loved working in that realm and hope to start my career with a company that will allow me to do so. I started playing volleyball when I was 12 years old, I played year round until I graduated high school. As much as I loved playing the game, I started coaching when I was 16 and found my niche in the game.
