Hi there! I’m Amanda Michelle Setiawan, a Chemical Engineering major with a minor in Marketing at Case Western Reserve University (Class of 2028).My journey began with a fascination for solving real-world problems through engineering — especially those tied to sustainability and environmental justice. That passion has driven me to work in environmental microbiology research at CWRU and co-create Re-FRESH, a student-run initiative under the PRISE entrepreneurship program that aims to tackle food insecurity on campus through accessible, healthy options.But engineering is only one part of my story. I’m equally drawn to the world of storytelling and strategy. Through roles in digital marketing at the Maltz Performing Arts Center, Applied Industrial Technologies, and the Kelvin Smith Library, I’ve discovered how impactful design and data-driven content can amplify innovation. Whether managing social platforms, creating visual campaigns, or analyzing engagement data, I enjoy connecting people to ideas through well-crafted narratives.I also bring a design-forward mindset to all I do—from visual content to community-focused campaigns. My early experiences in coding and graphic design back in Jakarta, combined with organizing nationwide debate and art events, continue to influence how I blend creativity with impact.At the core of it all is my love for sustainable, human-centered innovation. I\'m always seeking ways to combine engineering, communication, and empathy to build better systems—whether in research labs, on social platforms, or through grassroots projects.I’m always open to collaborating on ideas that make a difference.
