As a lead hardware engineer, my responsibilities will include delivering all hardware projects, including but not limited to internal test infrastructure and system testing, platform reference boards and evaluation kits, as well as custom hardware design for early adopters. In addition, I will be supporting Electric Imp and Microvisor customers in the acceleration of their hardware and product development projects.

Efficiency improvements are one of the fastest ways to advance sustainability while reducing energy costs and carbon emissions. The five areas where greater efficiency can have the biggest impact are energy production and consumption, transportation, industrial processes, buildings and infrastructure, and agriculture. I’m passionate about practical solutions that improve efficiency, from remote working and remote sensing to telemedicine, remote learning, and remote sports coaching.The real enabler, though, is connectivity. Meaningful action depends on access to trusted, high-quality data that can drive clear insights and measurable outcomes. That’s why I’m committed to robust, auditable connectivity solutions. They do more than deliver high-quality data; they provide secure, reliable channels for action.When developing connected products, not every part of the design needs to be reinvented. Take cellular-connected devices, for example: no one starts by building the entire cellular network from scratch. The same principle applies to connectivity modules, software stacks, seamless over-the-air (OTA) services, secure manufacturing tools, device and fleet management, SIM management, and secure logging and debugging services.By partnering with experts in these non-differentiating areas, product developers can streamline development, accelerate time to market, and reduce costs in both the short and long term. This allows them to focus their energy on what truly sets their product apart: the application and customer value.Over the past 10 years, my role has enabled me to work directly with numerous companies launching products and services aligned with this goal. I’ve supported them not only with connectivity solutions, but also with guidance on hardware development, from early pilot deployment through to scaled mass production.
