As an Experience Architect contracted by the Bureau of Creative Intelligence, I contributed to the MIRROR Program, a leadership framework for ethical AI adoption, and to flagship initiatives such as the MetaScholars Program and The Pitch, in partnership with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund. These programs were designed to equip HBCU students with critical UX/UI skills and hands-on exposure to AI and emerging technologies such as the Metaverse and Web 3.0.Key Contributions:AI & Emerging Tech Facilitation – Integrated AI-driven design tools and workflows into student challenges, introducing methods for rapid prototyping, ethical AI decision-making, and human-centered product design.UX/UI Training at Scale – Led live, interactive Figma workshops for 300+ students across four cohorts, teaching design systems, prototyping, and collaboration in both remote and VR-first environments.Program & Curriculum Design – Helped shape MIRROR-aligned learning experiences, combining design thinking, AI literacy, and reflective practices to foster creativity, ethical reasoning, and innovation.Pitch Coaching – Mentored student teams during The Pitch™ competition, advising on UX strategy, storytelling, and AI-powered design approaches.Virtual Facilitation – Designed and maintained VR kiosks, FX Challenges (badges/points system), and collaborative experiences to enhance engagement.This role strengthened my expertise in UX/UI design, AI adoption, and human-centered facilitation while advancing a mission-driven initiative to empower underrepresented communities with the tools to lead in an AI-driven future.
