I’m a women’s fiction author writing at the intersection of legacy, justice, and truth. My latest novel, Smart Black Girls Shouldn’t Have Babies, completed in September 2025, explores identity, reproductive injustice, and supernatural truth-telling across decades.I write full-time, drawing from personal experience, cultural history, and creative imagination to amplify the voices of women navigating survival, self-sufficiency, and legacy. Before stepping fully into my author career, I spent over a decade in IT leadership—managing training, customer service, telecommunications, and service recovery teams. I also founded and led Project Match, a nonprofit that matched homeless single-parent families with senior and disabled individuals to help the people who needed people, help each other. I wrote and produced the stage play Going Home to support that work, premiering it at the Atlanta Civic Center.Over the years, I’ve authored The Wolf, The Dark Skinned Sister, Dark Justice – Nightmare, Dark Justice – Awake, and Rat Bastard Customer Care. My stories often give voice to women who’ve been dismissed, silenced, or misrepresented—and they speak boldly, without apology.Everything I write—on the page or on the stage—asks one central question:What happens when women let nothing stand in their way of taking charge of their lives?Learn more: amandagrihm.com
