Not your average estimating & preconstruction professional.My career in the AEC industry has largely been the result of saying \"yes!\" to the side quest. Over the last 15+ years, I’ve followed opportunities that led me into drafting, subcontracting, project management, engineering, estimating, and preconstruction (and no, those last two aren’t the same)- with an increasing focus on technology and development.I enjoy tackling large-scale, complex, and integrated projects. The challenge of simplifying complexity, quelling the chaos, creative problem-solving, and the chance to learn something new with every job is what I love most about the industry. The fast-paced, overlapping project churn that comes with estimating and preconstruction keeps things exciting.Technology is something that’s near and dear to me. It’s not just about leveraging tools to their fullest, but connecting the dots between them to push the boundaries of what we expect and create smarter, more useful, and more efficient workflows. When a challenge calls for it, count me in - whatever it takes to build the right solution that will push things forward and deliver smart, practical results.One of the best parts of construction is the people. I’ve had the chance to work with some incredibly sharp, thoughtful, and creative folks—owners, subs, designers, and teammates—and those day-to-day connections are a big part of what makes the work fun.
