Ava’s Army is a 501c3 non-profit with a mission to fund life-saving Pediatric Leukemia Research. To date we have raised and donated to research. •Community engagement including outreach to other agencies, organizations, and partners in the community as well as presentations, media outreach and community education. •Focuses on the core functions of the organization to enable it to achieve its long-term vision. Areas of focus include strategy, finance, board management, fundraising, event planning, community engagement and program delivery.•Planning our annual Ava’s Army Sugarplum Ball. Raising over in event sponsorships. Managing: 65+ event volunteers, all vendor partnerships and relationships, event budget, event PR and advertising, décor, entertainment, planning, logistics, negotiations, and execution. In 2022 our event at 650 people in attendance and raised over •Managing all social media. •Maintaining all financial records for the organization. •Recruiting and running both our Ava’s Army executive board and Sugarplum Ball committee. •Developing community and media relationships to grow the brand of Ava’s Army.
