ABOUT AMANDA CHARLES
Amanda is a civil engineer with experience in transportation and roadway design who now specializes in the planning and design of athletic facilities. She works closely with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and clients to help deliver high-quality athletic campuses and sports environments that are both functional and thoughtfully designed. In her current role, Amanda supports the development of athletic facilities from concept through design, collaborating with project teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and meet client expectations and deadlines. She values strong relationships with clients and contractors and takes pride in contributing to projects that serve schools and communities. Amanda is continually learning new approaches to designing athletic campuses, balancing creativity with practical and efficient engineering solutions. Amanda earned her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and is an aspiring Professional Engineer, focused on continuing to grow her technical expertise while contributing meaningful work to the built environment. Originally from South Florida and a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School, Amanda now resides in Orlando. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, exploring new places, and is a dedicated basketball fan.
