ABOUT AMANDA BYRN

I am a Certified Phlebotomist, PBT, ASCP. I have worked in phlebotomy since seeing many different changes along the way, causing me to love learning and experiencing new opportunities. My love for the lab and healthcare as a whole is indescribable. I have encountered moments that hiry my heart and does even still, as well as moments that when I think of them I can help but smile. These are the reasons I am in and love healthcare. I have experience in multiple areas within the hospital setting and physician offices or outside lab offices. I have the experience in training new employees as well as Medical Lab Technology students for their phlebotomy skills; and, I enjoy teaching others about phlebotomy, and how lab results are important for helping to maintain a person\'s overall health. I look for opportunities to learn and grow within my skill and the healthcare system. I have a goal of completing college in hopes to become a Research Nurse, for Neurology in particular. I am focused on the quality of patient care and keeping our patient\'s taken care of with accuracy and for them to leave with confidence in the company as a whole. I am always looking for growth opportunities and hope to continue to grow and take my knowledge and skills to the next level.
