About Amanda Brondy
Amanda N. Brondy is an international development expert with 20 years of experience with a targeted focus on cold chain and temperature-controlled logistics. Currently serving as Vice President for International Projects at the Global Cold Chain Alliance, Ms. Brondy oversees all departmental functions including international strategy, new business development, project implementation, and annual budget actualization. During her time at the GCCA, she led in-country cold chain assessments and training activities in all regions, but especially in Asia and Africa and set a record for annual revenue, increased private sector engagement in development projects by 400%, and formed new partnerships to successfully implement a greater number of projects per year with new donors. Prior to joining the GCCA, she was Project Manager for international development contractor, DAI where she also spent five years in the field serving as the Deputy Chief of Party for the Dezenvolve Agricultura Comunitária (DAC) Project in Timor-Leste and Operations Manager for the Democratic Republic of the Congo on the Building Recovery and Reform through Democratic Governance (BRDG DRC) project in Kinshasa. In-country experience includes Angola, Bangladesh, Cambodia, DRC, Guinea, India, Kenya, Liberia, Myanmar, Nigeria, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Timor-Leste. She holds a master’s degree in international relations and international economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, and a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University in international studies and speech communication. Amanda is proficient in French.
