This summer, I have assisted with mechanical project work through both design tasks and technical training. I have gained hands-on experience with Revit modeling and HAP 6.2 for HVAC load calculations. My work includes designing and sizing HVAC ductwork and plumbing systems in compliance with building codes.In addition to technical design, I collaborate with my intern team daily to develop and present an innovative concept for Haskell’s annual Intern Summit Pitch.Beyond mechanical design, I’ve also been exposed to the broader world of construction management through weekly cohort sessions covering safety, estimating, procurement, field leadership, financials, document control, scheduling, and quality.This internship has expanded both my technical skills and my understanding of integrated design-build delivery in the AEC industry.
