   Clean Petroleum Products Charterer • Leads the deployment strategy for Chevron’s fleet of time charter vessels shipping clean petroleum products from the US to Latin America and Europe to maximize earnings, producing a profit for Chevron Shipping. Executes short term time charters and maritime contracts of affreightment, to provide maximum savings to Chevron over the spot market. • Applies strong knowledge of the shipping market to negotiate voyages on the spot market with shipowners and shipbrokers and consistently secure charters below the market, exceeding internal Chevron Shipping spot market benchmark targets. • Executes time charters and spot voyages for small and mid-sized pressurized gas carriers to support the Natural Gas Liquids trading export program out of the US to Latin America. • Works closely with FFA traders to hedge freight exposure of Chevron’s time charter fleet through FFAs. Base Oil Charterer • Chartered chemical and parcel tankers to ensure flow assurance for Chevron Oronite and Global Base Oil businesses exporting products out of the US Gulf and US West Coast to Europe and Asia. • Negotiated marine transportation contracts of affreightment with shipowners to provide customers with the lowest cost of transportation while ensuring product integrity. • Developed strong knowledge of the shipping market through relationships with shipowners and shipbrokers across the industry.
