About Amanda Williamson

Amanda Williamson graduated from the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the University of CentralFlorida in 2015 and maintained her membership to the Florida Physical Therapy Association (FPTA). Having served as mentorship tier leader for the Early Professional Special Interest Group (EPSIG), vice-chairperson for the EPSIG, chairperson for the EPSIG, and alternate delegate to the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) House of Delegates, she was afforded the opportunity to attend HPA TheCatalyst’s Leadership and Mentoring Program and to present at the APTA Combined Sections Meeting.Previously, she has served as APTA NEXT Conference Programming work group, East CentralDistrict Treasurer, and East Central District Assembly Representative. Currently she is serving as the Director for Public Relations for the FPTA working with staff and consultants to develop, review, and disseminate content regarding the physical therapy profession and the FPTA\'s role in the community. Clinically, she is an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and is expected to examine for Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in February 2021.
