Reporting to CFO, responsible for planning, supervision, administration and performance of all financial and operational audits of SAS Institute and affiliates- Assists in the design and administration of audit policies within the organization- Conducts financial and operational reviews of over 50 international subsidiaries through site visits and desktop audits with site visits to 18 countries- Plans and leads complex audits and reports technical details- Communicates with and influences all levels of the organization, including executive management- Determines reliability and effectiveness of financial systems and controls- Prepares reports of audit findings and makes recommendations to management- Provide technical accounting expertise on various GAAP and IFRS issues to executive management- Perform financial due diligence for all mergers and acquisitions- Selects, develops and evaluates department staff to ensure the efficient operation of the auditing function.
