ABOUT AMANDA SCHWERMAN
I\'m proud to be a Water Professional and could not imagine working in any other industry. I was lucky to know what I wanted to study in school and to make it a reality professionally. I\'ve worked on projects all over the world but have mostly focused on water, wastewater and reclaimed water systems in Florida. I started in the design world, working on all kinds of things from pump stations to ozonation water treatment plants, but spent most of the career in the front end planning and asset management work. My expertise is working closely with utilities to understand their vision for the utility and to help them determine how to make those visions happen. Now I get to lead the BV team in Tampa and Fort Myers to do the same thing across all the services Black & Veatch offers. I\'ve been lucky to have fantastic mentors, projects, clients and team members throughout my career and I’m excited about the future.
