ABOUT AMANDA ROSE LUCKEY
I am driven by a passion for developing adaptive relationships and organizational systems, especially in the context of education, greening urban infrastructure and protecting the wild. I apply my skills in administration, evaluation, training, facilitation, coaching, community engagement, events management, applied research and organizational development to the work of building radically inclusive and resilient organizations and public spaces. I have been deeply influenced by the work of Paulo Freire, Augusto Boal and Ursula Le Guin, as well as the practices of somatics and adrienne maree brown\'s Emergent Strategy. In particular, I am committed to the philosophy that \"what we practice at the small scale sets the patterns for the whole system\". I try to use my life to leverage change in the world by HOW I am, as much as with the things that I do/produce/create/manifest. I am a voracious lifelong learner and lover of questions such as:\"Who does this decision benefit and who does it harm?\"How do you know?\"\"What do you need?\"\"How can we make this more engaging/fun/inviting/participatory?\" A fierce advocate and strategic thinker, I am eternally curious and have the ability to make powerful connections and pick up new skills and concepts quickly. Ready and willing to get my hands dirty with the details, I am a champion of multiple truths, informed choice and scaffolded opportunity and access. I am dedicated to the embodiment of my values and the iterative, co-creation of organizational cultures and processes grounded in integrity, justice and joy.
