As CEO of Health Innovation West Midlands, I lead the organisation\'s mission to accelerate the adoption and spread of innovative ideas and technologies that transform health and social care across the West Midlands and beyond. Working in partnership with NHS trusts, Integrated Care Systems, NHS England, the Office of Life Sciences, academia, industry and the third sector, I am responsible for shaping and delivering HIWM\'s strategy, securing and managing commissions, and building the collaborative relationships that drive innovation at scale and pace.I hold accountability for organisational performance, governance and financial sustainability, working closely with the Chair and Board to ensure HIWM meets the highest standards of corporate governance and delivers against its licence commitments. A key part of my role is building regional capacity and capability to adopt innovation, designing pathways that match viable solutions to defined system challenges, and creating the conditions for sustainable economic growth within the health economy.

ABOUT AMANDA RISINO
NHS leader with more than 30 years\' experience spanning health, social care, research, digital innovation and large-scale transformation. My career began as a physiotherapist before moving into senior system leadership roles across the North-West, where I led multimillion pound commissioning bids, major organisational mergers and some of England\'s earliest integrated health and social care models. Since then, I have held national leadership positions, including Programme Director for Adoption and Spread across the AHSN Network, and Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Operating Officer at Health Innovation Manchester, where I helped transform the organisation into one of England\'s highest performing HINs. I am now Chief Executive of Health Innovation West Midlands, where I lead the organisation\'s mission to accelerate the discovery, development and deployment of innovation that improves population health and reduces inequalities across the region and beyond. Throughout my career I have been driven by a belief that the right partnerships, the right culture and the right conditions for innovation can genuinely transform lives. I bring a deep commitment to building collaborative relationships across the NHS, local government, academia, industry and the third sector, and to turning bold ideas into meaningful, measurable change.
