My practice is focused exclusive in family law matters, including divorce and separation, parenting time and parental decision making, child and spousal support, guardianship, relocation, and property division. I understand that family disputes can be difficult, and as a result, I am a passionate advocate for my clients and work with them to find the most appropriate path toward resolution. I believe it is important for my clients to have as much information about the legal processes and the options available to them, so they can feel confident in making the best decisions for themselves and their families.Family law issues can be highly emotional and high conflict. By approaching all issues objectively, I strive to resolve family law matters outside of court, and I have successfully negotiated settlement agreements for parenting issues, child and spousal support, and division of family property. When settlement is not possible, I help my clients resolve their disputes through litigation, and have successfully argued cases in British Columbia before the Provincial Court and Supreme Court, and in Alberta before the Court of Justice and the Court of King’s Bench.
