   The LSU Olinde Career Center (OCC) Communications Manager is responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing marketing and communications initiatives for all functions under the OCC umbrella including the Student Financial Management Center and Student Employment Office. This includes digital, video, and print content as well as public relations. The communications manager leads and supervises a communications team and serve as an integral part of the OCC.Voice Development & Alignment: Aligning the voice of the OCC with the emerging divisional voice, the communications manager identifies opportunities to elevate OCC messaging in a synergetic and non-competing way among divisional counterparts while further establishing our unique position in serving students, faculty and staff, employers, and corporate partners.Team Building: The communications manager develops and leads an eager and malleable communications team. Collaborative Successes: Working closely with both departmental colleagues and university constituents, the communications manager serves as a hands-on contributing member of the OCC team, identifying and recommending opportunities for improved communications content and timelines for successful recruiting events, student programs, initiatives, and the overall work of student success.
