In this new position with DHHS Office of Aging and Disability Services, I collaborate with state and national industry experts to bring the highest level of quality to residents of long-term care facilities while finding innovative ways to support the colleagues who serve them. I partner with individuals and teams with a broad array of experiences and expertise, both within and outside of the Department, to implement best practice measures in Maine’s residential and nursing care facilities. I collaborate with LTC providers to turn their “wins” in their respective communities into standard practice to benefit all Maine long-term care residents. Maine will be the leader in elder care and I’m looking forward to playing my small part in turning our common goal into a reality.
