Florida Department of Transportation, District VI, District-Wide environmental permits consultant. Performing contract services to support district staff as an in-house environmental permits reviewer. Services include evaluation of design engineering deliverables and the preparation of complete federal, state, and other local environmental permit application packages, coordination with agencies and project management teams throughout various project stages, and technical report writing. Reports to the District VI Environmental Permits & NPDES Coordinator. As a WGI employee, Amanda assesses environmental issues and the impacts associated with a projects involving wetlands, protected habitat, listed species, water quality, historical and archaeological resources, and contamination. She is a knowledgeable professional with expertise in the complex regulatory processes combined with innovative solutions to minimize or avoid impacts There is never a dull moment between soil sampling, seagrass surveys, listed species surveys, wildlife monitoring, wetland delineations, tree surveys, surface water sampling, environmental resource permitting, Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments, literature reviews, and technical report preparation.
