About Amanda Miller

Following my bachelor’s in chemical engineering, I started my career as an Associate Engineer at Brown-Forman, working in research and development. During my three years in this role, I executed the development of many exclusive bourbon launches as well as led cross-functional teams to expand products internationally. I also spent a few months in a short term assignment role as the second shift bottling supervisor at Woodford Reserve, managing a team of 15 operators in their day to day activities to hit target output metrics. I then made the transition to wider beverage alcohol, challenging myself professionally, moving to research and development at Molson Coors. During my three years as a Development Brewer, I utilized my innovative mindset to develop and commercialize numerous new product launches while ushering in continuous improvement to the R&D team. With such a focused background in the technical field, I made the decision to obtain my MBA from Kellogg, focusing on strategy as an opportunity to bring my innovation experience to firm-level performance. The education and skills learned in my MBA inspired me to pivot outside of R&D and into procurement as a perfect fit to apply my wider business learnings. In my current role as Sr Supply Manager for Innovation, I’ve managed fifteen new product launches through material readiness and executed the integration of three non-alcoholic brands to the Molson Coors portfolio. Apart from new projects, I also lead the supplier scorecard for the flavor category, driving cost savings and improved quality and service for our breweries.
