Manage and control large exposure commercial excess transportation/trucking claims nationwide • Assess and evaluate policy exposure of personal injury claims based upon facts, relevant State law, jury dynamics, venue and economic/non-economic values • Negotiate sums, terms and conditions of excess settlements in court and at mediations • Employ structured settlements to maximize the perceived value and reduce claim costs • Manage and retain counsel, trial supervision, establish legal budgets, approve litigation strategies and expense • Evaluate policy provisions, exclusions and priority of available coverage to limit policy exposure • Make presentations to senior management
