ABOUT AMANDA LINHARDT

I am driven by opportunities while understanding the importance of building knowledge through success and failure.In May 2021 I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a major in marketing and minor in management. During my time at Oklahoma State my on campus involvement included Alpha Chi Omega and The Marketing Club. Also, I spent time in London studying aboard gaining life and educational experience. Following graduation I followed a passion of mine and worked for a fitness franchise. During that time I experienced the commitment and time it takes to operate a business. In that position I worked closely with three managers which exposed me to different forms of management styles. Once school was back in session I decided to become a Substitute teacher back at my old stomping grounds. This gave me an opportunity to challenge myself and test my management skills even if it was a classroom of children. I moved to Oklahoma City to work for Heartland Payment System as a Business Development Representative. In a short period of time I gained insight in building relationships though B2B conversations related to providing solutions. Day to day I worked with small to medium sized business owners discussing and listening to their concerns.I currently work at Kendra Scott as the Event Assistant Store Manager. Over the past several months I have built relationships throughout the Oklahoma City community. I have worked with countless nonprofits, The Omni Hotel, and local small businesses. This position requires constant event preparation for weeks - months in advance. Communication with coworkers and staying organized is a huge factor in hitting my monthly numbers.
