I currently work within Thermo Fisher Scientific as a product marketing manager focused on the Thermo Scientific™ Orbitrap™ Tribrid™ mass spectrometry line and for Thermo Scientific™ Direct Mass Technology™ mode products. Previously I held a position in the Center of Excellence within Thermo Fisher Scientific as a field application scientist. Over that time, learned all Thermo Scientific™ Orbitrap™ HRAM mass spectrometers (and accompanying liquid chromatography) and could sufficiently train on them in biopharma and proteomics applications.For my education, I worked under Dr. Richard van Breemen as a post-doctoral researcher where I studied proteins semi-quantitatively by high resolution mass spectrometry based proteomics and worked on quantification of small molecules by MRM methods on low resolution mass spectrometers. I graduated cum laude from Goucher College in 2012 with honors and received my Ph.D. in chemistry in 2016 from University of Maryland under the advisement of Dr. Catherine Fenselau. My graduate work focused on characterization of intact proteins by top-down proteomics using the Thermo Scientific™ Orbitrap™ Fusion Lumos mass spectrometer.
