CLBC funds supports and services through service agencies for adults with developmental disabilities and their families in BC. CLBC is working to create communities where people with developmental disabilities have more choices about how they live, work and contribute.• Act as Developmental Disability Mental Health Team Liaison on behalf of CLBC• Negotiate with service providers costing details and quantities within available budgets• Receive monitoring reports from service providers; conduct on-site reviews as necessary• Receive financial reports from service providers and review details to ensure delivery of agreed upon services for approved funding supports (both individualized and global funding); provide feedback on corrective action requirements to improve and address service deficiencies, monitor implementation and/or recommend contract cancellations as required.• Identify key issues for the manager, including gaps in services and trends for resolution; with service providers, develop new approaches to addressing individual needs.• Respond to urgent service request and crisis situations proactively resolving informal complaints or concerns.• Notify facilitators of decisions about providing CLBC funded services; provide info about funding limitations or delays.
