As the Director of Recon, Reporting & Controls at Boston Mutual starting in June 2023, my primary focus has been on streamlining our processes, fortifying operational controls, and enhancing reporting accuracy. Leading this initiative, I\'ve conducted thorough evaluations of existing practices and policies, identifying and bridging procedural gaps to ensure timely and compliant outcomes. One of my proudest achievements has been devising and executing a strategic plan to clear a significant backlog, aligning with senior management and auditor deadlines ahead of schedule.My role also involves optimizing team capabilities & enhancing operational efficiency. By updating standard work procedures and implementing robust controls, I\'ve significantly reduced internal inquiry response times from two months to just 24 hours. Creating a culture of empowerment and open communication has been key to our success, fostering a collaborative environment where team members feel valued and motivated.My time at State Street Corporation was marked by various leadership roles, including Vice President of Strategy & Planning for Global Technology Services. Here, I managed an extensive annual technology budget of over $100 million, leading a team of 500 individuals. I spearheaded financial oversight, resource allocation, and strategic initiatives, achieving significant cost savings and enhancing global budget forecasting.In my role as Vice President, Desktop as a Service, I led the strategic deployment of a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, overseeing its lifecycle from needs assessment to implementation. My efforts in resource optimization and user education ensured a smooth transition during a major technology upgrade.As Vice President, Application Rationalization at State Street, I developed an application retirement workflow that reduced our application footprint by 10% within a year and identified $6 million in recoverable expenses. Leading a multidisciplinary working group, I established standardized processes and dynamic tracking tools that facilitated sustainable operations.Throughout my career, I\'ve been dedicated to fostering a culture of psychological safety, open communication, & collaborative problem-solving.
